Biography

Steve Blanc has been practicing in the tax procedure world in excess of 37 years. First, as a trial

attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel for the IRS in San Diego and Chicago. During this

time, he has litigated numerous cases before the United States Tax Court. In private practice, he

spent over a decade litigating civil and criminal tax cases with the nationally known tax

controversy firm of Hochman, Salkin, et al in Beverly Hills, California where he continued his

practice in the United States Tax Court, United States District Court, Los Angeles Superior

Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Most recently, he has his own tax procedure

practice where he represents businesses and individuals in the Tax Court, United States District

Court, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
