Vegan Cooking Class with ALDF

ALDF will host vegan cooking classes to promote the reduction of meat consumption and provide a fun and relaxing activity for students.  

Today, they will make a vegan noodle dish, like lo mein. Please find the ingredient list below:

  1. Vegan noodles (I use non-egg pasta noodles)
  2. 2 tsp vegetable oil
  3. 1 Red bell pepper
  4. 1 carrot
  5. 1 head of broccoli
  6. 2 green onions
  7. 1 tbsp of sesame seeds (optional)

Sauce

  1. ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  2. 4 cloves of garlic (I use more because I am a garlic monster)
  3. 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  4. 1 tbsp chili sauce
  5. 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  6. 1 tbsp sesame oil
