Come hear Judge Harris speak on his life in the Public Interest field, moderated by Professor Steven Lubet. Hon. Leslie E. Harris grew up in a public housing project on Chicago’s south side. After graduating from Northwestern University and Boston College Law School, he went on to become an Associate Justice of the Suffolk County Juvenile Court. Along the way, he was an elementary school teacher, a social worker, a probation officer, a public defender, and a prosecutor. Among many honors, he is a recipient of the Restorative Justice Award from the Justice Policy Coalition.
