Event Dates/Location
The 2026 Securities Regulation Institute will take place January 26-28, 2026 at the Hotel del Coronado (1500 Orange Avenue). Dress is business casual.
Check-in will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, January 26 in the Pearl Room (adjacent to the Ocean Ballroom). Participants arriving early are encouraged to check in between 4 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 25.

Participants at the Securities Regulation Institute may take advantage of special rates at the Hotel del Coronado (1500 Orange Avenue). A list of additional hotels on Coronado Island can be found below.
Run of house rooms start at $516/night (includes daily rate of $479/night plus $22/night daily resort fee and $15/night Historic Preservation Fund fee). Rooms are also subject to any and all applicable federal, state, municipal, or other taxes and fees in effect at the time of check-in. A one-night deposit is taken at the time of booking which is fully refundable up to eighteen (18) days in advance of arrival.
The daily resort fee includes in-room internet access, daily newspaper available in the lobby, unlimited indoor fitness classes and beach yoga, discounted tickets to top San Diego attractions, in-room coffee, tea, and bottled water, and other discounts. Conference parking rates are $30 per day for self-parking and $40 per day for valet.
Guests may upgrade to coastal view or ocean view rooms for an additional fee. Subject to availability, the cutoff for these rates is January 5, 2026. To book, call (800) 468-3533 (mention the group code SRI) or visit the hotel's reservations website.

Course Materials
Course materials for each session will be distributed via Brandlive, our virtual event platform. Access instructions will be emailed to confirmed registrants approximately one week prior to the event. A help desk will be available for those needing assistance with accessing or downloading the materials.
SRI On Demand
Interested in the 2026 Securities Regulation Institute but unable to join us in person? Register for SRI On Demand! Live sessions will be recorded and made available for 30 days of on-demand viewing beginning February 16, 2026. Session recordings will qualify for California and New York CLE credit only. Those seeking credit in other states may request a California certificate of attendance to use to self-apply. Please consult your specific state bar(s) for application eligibility and guidelines.
In-person attendees will automatically be given access to these recordings as part of their registration and do not need to register separately.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel you may do so online, or submit written notice (email is acceptable), on or before January 5, 2026 in order to receive a full refund. A $250 administrative fee will be deducted from refunds on cancellations made January 6-12. Substitutions are available through January 12, 2026.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made after January 12, 2026.
Continuing Legal Education Credit
As a program sponsored by Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, the Securities Regulation Institute is recognized for continuing legal education credit in most states, including California. Estimated credit hours are 16.50, including 1.0 of ethics, for states with a 60-minute credit hour and 19.8, including 1.2 of ethics, for states with a 50-minute credit hour.
