Event Dates/Location
The 2025 Securities Regulation Institute will take place January 27-29, 2025 at the Hotel del Coronado (1500 Orange Avenue). Dress is business casual.
Check-in will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, January 27 in the Crystal Continental Room. Participants arriving early are encouraged to check in between 4 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 26.
Registration and Tuition
Regular tuition is $2,100 per person. An early-bird discounted rate of $1,950 per registration is available through December 6, 2024.
Registration in advance is preferred. On-site registration is available as space permits and requires an additional fee of $100 per registration. Registration is for all three days of the program for one individual. Shared registration is not available. If you have not received an email confirmation prior to the start of the program, you are not considered registered. Please contact our office to verify.
Registration will CLOSE at 11:59 p.m. CST on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Accommodations
Participants at the Securities Regulation Institute may take advantage of special rates at the Hotel del Coronado (1500 Orange Avenue). **Please be advised that this year’s block is limited due to ongoing construction at the Del and rooms will sell out quickly. Participants are strongly encouraged to book as soon as possible.** A list of additional hotels on Coronado Island can be found below.
Run of house rooms start at $506/night (includes daily rate of $469/night plus $22/night daily resort fee and $15/night Historic Preservation Fund fee). Rooms are also subject to any and all applicable federal, state, municipal, or other taxes and fees in effect at the time of check-in. Each reservation with the hotel must be accompanied by a one-night deposit refundable up to 30 days prior to arrival.
The daily resort fee includes in-room internet access, daily newspaper available in the lobby, unlimited indoor fitness classes and beach yoga, discounted tickets to top San Diego attractions, in-room coffee, tea, and bottled water, and other discounts. Conference parking rates are $30 per day for self-parking and $40 per day for valet.
Guests may upgrade to coastal view or ocean view rooms for an additional fee. Subject to availability, the cutoff for these rates is January 6, 2025. To book, call (800) 468-3533 (mention the group code SRI) or visit the hotel's reservations website.

Course Materials
Course materials for each session will be distributed within 6Connex, our virtual event environment. Access instructions will be emailed to confirmed registrants approximately one week prior to the event. A help desk will be available for those needing assistance with accessing or downloading the materials.
SRI On Demand
All program sessions will be recorded and made available for a 30-day viewing period following the conclusion of the January event. In-person attendees will automatically be given access to these recordings as part of their registration and do not need to register separately.
The recorded sessions will qualify for California and New York CLE credit only. Those seeking credit in other states may request a California certificate of attendance to use to self-apply.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel you may do so online, or submit written notice (email is acceptable), on or before January 6, 2025 in order to receive a full refund. A $250 administrative fee will be deducted from refunds on cancellations made January 7-13. Substitutions are available through January 13, 2025.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made after January 13, 2025.
Continuing Legal Education Credit
As a program sponsored by Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, the Securities Regulation Institute is recognized for continuing legal education credit in most states, including California. Estimated credit hours are 16.25, including 1.0 of ethics, for states with a 60-minute credit hour and 19.5, including 1.2 of ethics, for states with a 50-minute credit hour.
