Esther Barron, Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center Director

Esther Barron, Director of the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center (DPELC), works with students in the DPELC clinical program to represent start-ups, entrepreneurs, social enterprises and growth businesses in a variety of transactional matters. In addition, she is very involved with the Chicagoland entrepreneurial community, working closely with many of the incubators and accelerators as a mentor. Barron exercised her own entrepreneurial passion and co-founded a start-up handbag company, Elezar, LLC, which she was involved with until 2015. She is now an angel investor focusing on companies with a cruelty free and vegan mission. She also teaches a number of classes within the DPELC, including Entrepreneurship Law, Bay Area Innovation, and Venture Capital and Early Stage Financing. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.

Stephen F. Reed, Assistant Director

Steve Reed, the Assistant Director of the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center (DPELC) and Co-Director of the JD-MBA Program, works with students in the DPELC clinical program to represent start-ups, more mature companies and social entrepreneurs in a variety of transactional matters. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, California and New York.

Darren Green

Darren Green, Professor of Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Practice, and faculty in the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center (DPELC), works with students in the DPELC clinical program to represent start-ups, entrepreneurs and growth businesses in a variety of transactional matters. In addition, Professor Green, together with students, participates in a variety of legal workshops and presentations throughout the Chicagoland entrepreneurship community. He also teaches a number of classes within the DPELC, including Advanced Commercial Contracts for Entrepreneurs and Start-Ups, a course in the Bay Area as part of the law school's West Coast Initiative and Venture Capital and Early Stage Financing. He is admitted to practice in Illinois. 

Allie Reid

Allie Reid, Program Administrator for the Donald Pritzker Entrepreneurship Law Center (DPELC), works alongside Esther Barron, Stephen Reed, and Darren Green to support the legal and academic work of the center and to manage the DPELC’s robust programming schedule of events. She holds a B.A. in Comparative Cultures and Politics from James Madison College at Michigan State University, a B.A. in Theatre from Michigan State University and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Liberal Studies with a focus on Performance and Social Justice at Northwestern University.
