Curriculum and Program Advising

The Curriculum Team provides curricular advising and programming for current Northwestern Law students. Please contact us if you have questions about course selection, including adding or dropping a course, taking courses on another campus, or satisfying the graduation requirements.

Academic and Professional Excellence (APEX)

APEX provides academic support for first-year students as they progress through their doctrinal and legal reasoning courses through formal programming, peer-to-peer mentorship, and individual advising with the APEX Director. Learn more about the APEX Program.

Jocelyn Francoeur provides academic advising and programming for current first-year Northwestern Law students. 1L students should contact Jocelyn if they have questions about academic participation or performance, exam preparation, or exam accommodations and modifications.

Academic and Curricular Advising for LLM students (ACE)

Holistic suite of support services and programming designed to help international students acclimate to legal studies in the U.S., plan their law school curriculum to meet professional interests and career goals, participate in programming designed to demystify the learning process in American law schools, explore opportunities and emerging trends in global legal practice, and develop cross cultural competency through teamwork and collaboration with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
