Academic Advising
Academic and Professional Excellence (APEx)
Academic and Professional Excellence (APEx) is an expression of Northwestern Law’s commitment to innovative thinking about meeting the changing needs of today’s law students and better preparing them for their careers. During all three years of law school, Northwestern Law students will participate in interactive programs meeting a range of their academic and career needs, including acclimating to a law school learning environment, building a law school curriculum, establishing personal and professional awareness of the demands and responsibilities of their careers, and developing the teamwork and leadership skills necessary for their professional lives in the law, business and public service.
