Admitted Students

We look forward to welcoming you here! After you have been accepted you will need to begin the visa application. We will send you a Visa Instruction Packet and a Pre-Arrival Guide to help prepare you for your semester here. We will also send you a Registration and Course Guide that provides information about signing up for classes. We recommend that you review all of these materials prior to arriving at the Law School.

Please note that exchange students must register for a minimum of 8 course credits at Northwestern in order to maintain full-time status and comply with visa requirements. It is the student's responsibility to seek course approval from their home institution prior to the end of the Law School's Open Enrollment (Add/Drop) Period in order to make any necessary curricular adjustments.

Open Enrollment typically runs through the first two weeks of the Fall and Spring semesters. Please refer to the Law School's Academic Calendar for the specific dates for your exchange semester.
