Orientation Week
- A final schedule will be available during Orientation.
- Student ID: Submit a photo online to request your "Wildcard" school ID photo now.

Before You Arrive
International Drivers License
We strongly suggest that you obtain the International Drivers license in your home country which will serve you temporarily after your arrival to the U.S. Once you are here, you may have the option to obtain the Temporary Visitors Drivers License (TVDL) which will be valid for another 3 years. Visit the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicle's site for more information.
Laptop Requirements
- All incoming students are required to have a computer that meets or exceeds the University's recommended guidelines.

- Laptops that do not meet the minimum specifications will receive limited support from IT.
Public Service Events
- The Public Interest Center and Student Effort to Rejuvenate Volunteering (SERV), a student group organization focused on improving community service involvement, traditionally plan volunteer projects at various
locations. - Day of Service sites last school year: Alliance for the Great Lakes, Black and Pink, Chicago Park District, Cornerstone Community Outreach, Habitat for Humanity Restore In Her Shoes Foundation, Lakeview Pantry, Legal Prep Charter School, Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, Red Door Animal Shelter, Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy, The Center on Wrongful Convictions, Westside Justice Center.
- Day of Service will be different for Orientation this year so please check back with us.
